WHAT IS COUNSELLING?
If you’re facing challenges in your life, you may not know where to turn for help. You need a friendly ear, expert advice, and help to make decisions about where to go next. Philip Hynes at Clear Sky Counselling, Wirral can provide this, in a supportive, friendly atmosphere. Together, you can work through the issues which are troubling you.
What makes counselling different from any other form of talking therapy? Put simply, it’s all about a therapeutic conversation. Of course, you can talk to a trusted friend or relative, but your counsellor is someone who’s an impartial outsider, who can provide a helpful, objective overview of the situation. They get to know you, and can provide the assistance you need to help you move forward.
MY APPROACH
Naturally, you speak to a counsellor in confidence. Counsellors encourage you to discuss your honest thoughts and feelings about whatever is happening in your life, in a way in which you’re comfortable. Together, you and your counsellor work out where the bumps in your road have occurred, and how you can get yourself back on track.
You can book as many or as few counselling sessions as you want. A good starting point is a weekly session, for four to six weeks, which will give me time to get to know which approach works best for you, and gives you the best results. Of course, if I’m approaching a long term issue, you can attend counselling for longer periods, which will allow us to work together on more complex topics. I am as flexible as you need me to be.

ONLINE COUNSELLING
Skype counselling is a great way to have face-to-face or phone counselling when you are unable or unwilling to travel to a counselling office. You can save money rather than lose time traveling from work. Many people now enjoy the convenience of working on themselves and getting support in their own homes and offices where they feel most comfortable.
Clear Sky Counselling also offer the same service through Facetime. With its data encryption you can be sure that you will always be talking safely and securely.
